RARE KITTENS I HAVE

by Kristina
(Lockport NY)

These kittens are born from my Maine Coon Female Cat, and my Ragdoll male. They were born longhaired black and white, lost all their hair at 2 wks, have developed a grey velvety coat with black Siamese like markings as you can see. They are very unique as far as I know. I dont know what they would be called. The vet says that both parents must have had the recessive hairless gene and its a genetic mutation, they are healthy. It will be interesting to see what they become though. Any info is appreciated, teenybearz@aol.com

Finally!!
by: Poetic

I have been searching for what breed of kitten i have. I got him from the SPCA. He has the same coloring and looks very unique. He was one of 2 left. They both had the same markings and color; black, grey (smokey) color and very very soft. I was wondering what breed he was. your picture looks exactly like my new kitten. I wondering if you hae a recent picture of him??

I have a kitten like that too!
by: Catie

He didnt start loosing his hair till he was about a month old, but I have had him since he was 10 days old. Was all black with white paws when I first got him. I dont know what his parents were, as he was abandoned as a baby. He lost his hair, and I thought it might have been from another kitten I was fostering at the time sucking the hair off? But anyways his fur on his body grew back smokey grey, but he has the same white paws and a black face, but all the markings of a siamese! I have never seen another cat like him until I just saw your picture! its so odd!
